Where it stands
IREN's Childress, Texas campus has 750MW of planned gross capacity. Horizon 1, the first of four 50MW (IT) liquid-cooled deployments for Microsoft, was delivered and accepted in August 2026, while Horizons 2-4 are in late-stage construction targeting calendar Q4 2026 delivery and Horizons 5-6 are in early site works. Existing Childress capacity (formerly Bitcoin mining) is also operating and being transitioned to AI Cloud, but its MW is not stated; operating_mw counts only Horizon 1's IT load, which is not directly comparable to the 750MW gross figure.
