Overview

A parallel redundant uninterruptible power supply system that connects multiple UPS devices directly to at least two independent power sources without intermediate active switching components. Unlike conventional systems requiring expensive active switches between the power sources and UPS inputs, this invention uses passive direct connections that reduce cost, eliminate the need for power-source synchronization, and allow the system to scale without adding active components. The design includes separate switches for each power source and provides maintenance bypass paths, allowing switches to be serviced without interrupting power delivery—when one power source fails, the other automatically continues supplying both UPS devices and their connected loads. This architecture eliminates downtime from active component failures and avoids the efficiency losses and synchronization complexity of traditional UPS systems.
