Overview

A parallel uninterruptible power supply system that eliminates expensive active switching components by directly connecting multiple UPS units to two or more independent power sources through passive switches. Conventional UPS systems require active electronic switches and control circuits between power sources and the UPS to manage source synchronization and automatic failover—adding significant cost and creating points of failure. This invention uses simple passive direct connections and basic sensing switches that allow independent sources to feed the UPS units simultaneously without electronic control. If one source fails, power automatically continues from the remaining sources without interruption. By removing active components, the system costs less, proves more reliable, requires less maintenance, and scales more easily as additional power sources or loads are added.
