Where it stands
WhiteFiber signed a definitive agreement in August 2026 to buy two industrial properties in Yadkin County, North Carolina, for $60 million and retrofit them into the NC-2 and NC-3 data center campuses. The sites are expected to provide at least 60 MW of combined initial gross utility capacity, potentially rising to about 200 MW. The purchase was expected to close in Q4 2026 and initial ready-for-service capacity is targeted for Q3 2027; no passage confirms closing or the start of construction. The capacity already billing under the Nscale deal is at the separate NC-1 campus in Madison and is not counted here.
