Vega
Project of Hut 8
Where it stands
Hut 8 completed initial energization of its 205 MW, single-building Vega ASIC compute facility near Amarillo, Texas in June 2025, and miner energization finished in June and July 2025. American Bitcoin bought the hosted Bitmain miners in August 2025 and began mining there, and Q2 2026 filings and the earnings call still credit Vega with operating capacity. No passage reports added capacity under construction at Vega; an analyst note in P43 mentions 'execution' on Vega but gives no detail.
