Lake Hawkeye (also called the Cayuga site) is a planned TeraWulf data center at a former coal plant in Lansing, NY. The company says it could support about 400 MW gross or 320 MW critical IT load, with operations not expected until about 2029. Local reporting describes a 150 MW data center, and it is unclear whether that is a first phase or a different scope. The project is still under town review, with no capacity built or under construction. Lansing's board has directed a draft local law banning data centers, and TeraWulf has signaled it may take legal action.
