Sweetwater 2
Project of IREN
Where it stands
Sweetwater 2 is the 600MW second facility of IREN's 2GW Sweetwater Hub in Texas, and was conditionally included in ERCOT's Batch Zero as Base Load in September 2026. The only construction reported at the hub is 300MW at Sweetwater 1, targeted for Q4 2027. IREN's October 2026 proxy cites only continued construction at Sweetwater 1 and 'development at Sweetwater', so Sweetwater 2 appears to still be at the planning stage.
