Where it stands
Core Scientific opened the Calvert City, KY site in 2019. Its 2023 10-K says it operates at up to 150 MW under a TVA contract, and the 2025 10-K still lists 150 MW of gross TVA capacity at 'Paducah-Calvert City', which appears to be the same facility under a new label. Since late 2025 the company has marketed the site as a future colocation site with ~100 MW of leasable power. As of July 2026 that capacity was still uncommitted, with no customer or construction disclosed. No passage reports the existing mining operations being shut down, but none from 2026 explicitly confirms they are running either.
