Duke Energy capacity commitment - 40 MW milestone
Company: WhiteFiber - Project: NC-1
What the later record shows
Delivered; the record does not say when
The June 2026 deck reports Duke completed work for the initial 54 gross MW, covering the 40 MW milestone. When that happened is not stated.
“Duke Energy has completed the work required to deliver the initial 54 gross MW of utility power to the NC-1 site.”

How we checked this
Checked on October 11, 2026. The cited source supports part of this claim, but not all of it.
The prospectus describes Duke Energy's undertaking as a commercially reasonable efforts obligation, not a firm agreement to provide 40 MW by April 1, 2026, so the claim overstates the commitment.
Confirmed in the source:
- Under a Capacity Agreement, Duke Energy agreed to use commercially reasonable efforts to achieve 40 MW (gross) of service to the NC-1 property by April 1, 2026
We could not confirm this from the cited source:
- The prospectus does not say Duke Energy agreed to provide 40 MW (gross) to NC-1 by April 1, 2026; it describes only a commitment to use commercially reasonable efforts
That does not mean it is false — only that this source does not establish it, as of the date above. If we find a source that settles it, we will re-check and update this page.
What we did: Read our cached copy of SEC EDGAR (https://www.sec.gov/Archives/edgar/data/2042022/000121390025070709/ea0249945-04.htm) in full (845,158 characters, retrieved August 31, 2026) and checked each assertion in the claim against it.
