How we checked this
Checked on October 13, 2026. The cited source supports part of this claim, but not all of it.
The brief confirms Core alleged CoreWeave installed HPC equipment at Denton and that Core licensed its data centers to CoreWeave. However, the explicit link between the Denton installation and the license agreements comes from the respondents' characterization rather than Core's quoted allegations.
Confirmed in the source:
- Core alleged that CoreWeave has installed HPC devices and equipment in Core's Denton, Texas data center
- Core alleged that it granted CoreWeave a license to use Core's data center(s) for CoreWeave's HPC operations
We could not confirm this from the cited source:
- That Core specifically alleged the Denton installation was made under those license agreements (the brief ties the installation to the $1.2 billion expansion deal, and it is the respondents' brief, not Core, that links the licensed data centers to Denton)
That does not mean it is false — only that this source does not establish it, as of the date above. If we find a source that settles it, we will re-check and update this page.
What we did: Read our cached copy of RECAP (https://archive.org/download/gov.uscourts.cafc.24297/gov.uscourts.cafc.24297.17.0.pdf) in full (62,406 characters, retrieved October 8, 2026) and checked each assertion in the claim against it.
