Where it stands
Canal Flats is IREN's first site and has run as a 30MW Bitcoin mining data center since 2019; filings still report about 30MW of capacity as of December 31, 2025. IREN plans to convert the full 30MW to liquid-cooled AI Cloud capacity for GB300 GPUs, and said its S21 Pro miners there would run through September 2026 and then be sold. No passage confirms that retrofit work has started or that mining has stopped, so the site is treated as operational with a planned conversion.
