Where it stands

In October 2025 Cipher bought a 53% interest in Colchis LLC, a joint venture developing a potential 1 GW HPC site in West Texas with about 620 acres of land under option. AEP will build a dual interconnection facility targeting energization in 2028, pending ERCOT approval. The newest filing (August 2026) still calls it a potential 1 GW site, and no passage reports a tenant lease, data center construction or operating capacity.
