Michael Rulf

Michael Rulf was elected as an independent director of WhiteFiber in August 2026 and serves on the Compensation and Nominating Committees. Since December 2025, he has held the position of Chief Solutions Architect at Syntax Systems Ltd., managing product development initiatives for managed services and cloud providers overseeing product lines exceeding $250 million in revenue. He previously served as Syntax Systems' Americas Chief Technology Officer (2018–2025) and Chief Technology Officer (2012–2018).

Prior to Syntax Systems, Rulf held executive positions at major cloud infrastructure providers. From April 2011 to August 2012, he served as Vice President, Service Engineering Technology Office at Oracle Corporation, directing strategic initiatives for Oracle Cloud Services products and leading cross-functional teams exceeding 200 individuals. From January 2008 to April 2011, he served as Executive Director of Product Development at AT&T Inc., providing strategic direction for Cloud Services products and overseeing a cross-functional organization exceeding 500 individuals.

Rulf's earlier career included roles as Vice President of Advanced Engineering at USi Inc. (2005–2008) and Vice President of Research and Development at Core Services Corporation (1998–2005), where he founded and led the information security consulting practice before the company was acquired by Syntax Systems Limited. He also served as Information Services Manager at Production Arts (1995–1998). He holds a B.A. in Computer Science and Engineering Applications for Theatre from The College of Wooster (1993) and an M.F.A. in Theater Engineering from Purdue University (1997). In 2007, he was recognized as Innovator of the Year by the Oracle Applications User Group.
