Douglas Mouton has been an independent director of Riot Platforms since February 2025, serving on the Audit, Compensation, and Governance committees. He previously held the position of Vice President, Global Datacenter Delivery at Microsoft from June 2015 to July 2021, overseeing global datacenter operations and infrastructure deployment. From June 2022 to June 2024, he served as Senior Engineer Lead for Datacenter Design Engineering and Construction at Meta, managing design and construction programs at scale.
Currently, Mouton serves as Senior Advisor at Global Infrastructure Partners (since July 2025), a leading infrastructure investing company, and as a board member of Qnect (since June 2025), a construction industry solutions company. He is also an advisory board member of Fidelis New Energy (since September 2022), a developer of multi-gigawatt zero-carbon power facilities in Europe.
Mouton holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and a Master of Strategic Studies, Military Science and Operational Studies from the U.S. Army War College.
