Saidal Mohmand (age 35) serves as Chief Financial Officer of Applied Digital, effective October 15, 2024. Previously, from September 2021 to October 2024, he was Executive Vice President of Finance, leading financial strategy and capital markets initiatives. Concurrently with his CFO role since July 2020, Mohmand has served as Director of Research at 272 Capital LP, an investment advisory firm specializing in technology hardware, software, and service companies (founded by Applied Digital CEO Wes Cummins). Following 272 Capital's acquisition by B. Riley Financial (Nasdaq: RILY) in August 2021, he served as Director of Research at B. Riley Asset Management through February 2024.
Prior to joining Applied Digital, Mohmand was Director of Research at GrizzlyRock Capital, a value-oriented long/short fund based in Chicago, from December 2013 to June 2020. He holds a B.B.A. in Finance and Accountancy from Western Michigan University.
