Jaime Leverton joined Riot's Board in February 2025 as an Independent Director and currently serves as Chair of the Governance Committee, with additional seats on the Audit and Compensation committees. She is currently Chief Executive Officer at ReserveOne, a digital asset portfolio company (since July 2025).
Prior to ReserveOne, Leverton served as Chief Executive Officer and Chairperson of Ulys Holdings, Inc., a fintech platform for banking and digital assets (July 2024–February 2025). She previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Hut 8 Corp., one of the largest publicly traded Bitcoin mining companies (December 2020–February 2024). Her earlier roles include Chief Commercial Officer at eStruxture Data Centers, a Canadian data center colocation platform (June 2019–December 2020); General Manager and Vice President for Canada and APAC at Cogeco Peer 1, now Aptum Technologies (May 2017–May 2019); and Managing Director of Financial Markets at National Bank of Canada (April 2016–May 2017).
Leverton holds a Bachelor of Social Science and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Political Science from the University of Ottawa, an MBA from Dalhousie University, and an Institute of Corporate Directors certificate from the Rotman School of Management at the University of Toronto. She currently serves as a director of Vertical Data Inc. (since April 2024) and multiple privately held companies; she previously served on the board of WonderFi Technologies Inc. (March–August 2024).
