Elizabeth Crain, 61, has served on Core Scientific's Board of Directors since May 14, 2025, and chairs the Audit Committee. She was Chief Operating Officer and Co-Founder of Moelis & Company from 2007 through 2023, where she led the firm's global strategy, operations, and risk functions. Prior to Moelis, she was a Managing Director at UBS Investment Bank from 2001 to 2007, serving as Chief Operating Officer of the UBS Investment Banking Department Americas and member of the Investment Bank Board.
Crain began her career at Merrill Lynch in 1988, followed by five years in private equity from 1997 to 2001 before joining UBS. She holds an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a B.S. in Economics from Arizona State University.
Crain currently serves on the Board of Nokia Corporation (NYSE: NOK), where she chairs the Strategy Committee and sits on the Personnel Committee. She has been an Advisory Partner at Consello Group since 2024. The Board designated her as an audit committee financial expert under SEC rules.
