Emergency authorization for cryptocurrency mining survey discontinued
Company: Riot
The claim, verbatim
EIA Administrator formally requested discontinuation of the emergency authorization for Form EIA-862 data collection, and OMB approved the discontinuance. EIA decided not to proceed through emergency collection procedures for cryptocurrency mining data and will instead proceed through PRA's notice-and-comment procedures if it seeks to collect such data in the future.
