Independent Director of Hut 8 Mining since the consummation of the Business Combination (2023); previously served as director of USBTC from December 2021. Currently serves as Board Chair of Gap Inc. (since 2002) and as a director of Capital One Financial Corporation (since 2003).
From February 2012 to April 2022, served as Chairman of Exelon and Executive Chairman from March 2012 through February 2013. Prior to Exelon's merger, served as Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer of Constellation Energy from October 2001 to February 2012, overseeing wholesale and retail power marketing and merchant generation businesses. Earlier at Deutsche Bank, held positions as Chairman and CEO of Deutsche Banc Alex. Brown and as Global Head of Investment Banking and Global Head of Private Banking.
While leading Constellation Energy and Exelon, served as Chairman of the Board of the Institute of Nuclear Power Operations and held executive committee roles with the Edison Electric Institute, Nuclear Energy Institute, and the Center for Strategic & International Studies. Graduate of Williams College (B.A.) and Stanford Graduate School of Business (M.B.A.).
