Paul Prager has been Co-Founder, Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Chief Executive Officer of TeraWulf since February 2021. He founded Beowulf Electricity & Data Inc. in 1990, serving as President; Beowulf is a private energy and digital infrastructure company. He also founded Brooklyn Marine & Oil LLC, a shipowner and operator, and previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Direct Gas.
Prager is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy and served as a member of the investment committee and trustee of the U.S. Naval Academy Foundation until 2025. His experience spans power generation, infrastructure development, commodity trading, and international shipping, with significant focus on large-scale digital infrastructure platform development and capital deployment.
Prager controls Somerset Operating Company, LLC and Cayuga Operating Company, LLC, both of which own real property in New York leased to TeraWulf for cryptocurrency mining and HPC data center operations under long-term lease agreements.
