William Iwaschuk, age 50, is Co-President, Chief Legal Officer, and Corporate Secretary of Cipher Digital Inc. He assumed the role of Chief Legal Officer in August 2021, added the Corporate Secretary title in May 2022, and was promoted to Co-President in March 2023.
Prior to Cipher, Iwaschuk spent six years at Tower Research Capital LLC (2014–2020), where he held senior legal positions including General Counsel and Secretary (2016–2020) and Counsel (2014–2016). Before Tower Research, he was a Partner in the Investment Management Group at Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP in New York (2013–2014). Earlier in his career, he served as Vice President in the legal department at Goldman Sachs & Co. (2005–2012) and began his career as an equity derivatives associate at Davis Polk & Wardwell LLP in New York.
He holds an LL.B. and B.A. from The University of British Columbia.
