Theodore J. Brombach, 58, served as Chairman of the Board of XPDI. He is a founding partner and Co-Managing Partner of XMS Capital Partners, LLC since 2006 and Chief Executive Officer of XA Investments LLC, an alternative asset management firm he co-founded in 2016. Since 2017, he has been President, Chief Executive Officer and Trustee of XAI Octagon Floating Rate & Alternative Income Term Trust (NYSE: XFLT), a closed-end fund investing in alternative credit investments.
Brombach brings over 30 years of investment banking experience across Chicago, New York and London. Prior to founding XMS Capital, he was a Managing Director and co-head of Midwest Investment Banking at Morgan Stanley, which he joined in 1990. At XMS Capital, he has led numerous M&A and capital raising transactions across multiple industry sectors. He also serves as a director of RiverWood Bank.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
