
Jeff Booth has served as an independent director of Core Scientific since January 23, 2024, serving on the Audit, Compensation, and Nominating and Corporate Governance committees. He is currently an entrepreneur and author of "The Price of Tomorrow - Why Deflation is Key to an Abundant Future." Booth founded and served as Chief Executive Officer of BuildDirect.com Technologies, Inc. (TSX-V: BILD) from 1999 to 2017, a platform connecting buyers and sellers of building materials and equipment in the home improvement market.
Booth is a Founding Partner of ego death capital, a venture capital fund investing in entrepreneurs addressing global challenges. He co-founded Addy and NocNoc and serves on the boards of Fedi and Breez, along with multiple advisory boards. Since 2004, he has been a member of the Young Presidents Organization and is a Founding Fellow at the Creative Destruction Lab.
Booth was recognized as the BC Technology Industry Association's Person of the Year in 2015 and inducted into the BCTIA Hall of Fame in October 2023. In 2016, Goldman Sachs named him one of the 100 Most Intriguing Entrepreneurs. He is 56 years old.
