How we checked this
Checked on October 13, 2026. The cited source supports part of this claim, but not all of it.
The chart's 2030 projection is 1.8–2.8 GW. The ~2.9 GW figure is the total of current leased capacity (839 MW) and the full controlled pipeline (2,082 MW), not a projection for 2030.
Confirmed in the source:
- Projections assume 250–500 MW of incremental critical IT signings per year
- Leased capacity plus pipeline is projected at 1.1–1.4 GW in 2027
- Leased capacity plus pipeline is projected at 1.4–1.8 GW in 2028
We could not confirm this from the cited source:
- That leased capacity plus pipeline is projected to reach ~2.9 GW by 2030
That does not mean it is false — only that this source does not establish it, as of the date above. If we find a source that settles it, we will re-check and update this page.
What we did: Read our cached copy of IR page (investors.terawulf.com) (https://d1io3yog0oux5.cloudfront.net/_26c9692236622f11a71632d61560402c/terawulf/db/2396/23522/pdf/TeraWulf+Q2+2026+Investor+Presentation.pdf) in full (28,349 characters, retrieved October 6, 2026) and checked each assertion in the claim against it.
