Drumheller
Project of Hut 8
Where it stands
Hut 8 closed its 42 MW Drumheller, Alberta mining site in March 2024 and kept the lease. The site was re-energized in March 2026 to host about 11,298 American Bitcoin miners, and the company says the full 42 MW was recommissioned into ASIC colocation. The Q2 2026 10-Q lists Drumheller as an operating ASIC Compute site and credits it with added Bitcoin production. The date is given only as March 2026, so the day shown is a placeholder.
