Georges Antoun, age 63, is Chief Commercial Officer of First Solar, a position held since July 2016 after serving as Chief Operating Officer and President, U.S. He joined Marathon Digital Holdings' board in May 2021 and currently chairs its Risk and Audit Committee, serving also on Talent, Culture and Compensation, Nominating and Corporate Governance, Social Responsibility, and Technology and Strategy committees.

Previously, as Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales and Operations at Redback Networks, he was elevated to Chief Executive Officer of the Redback subsidiary following Ericsson's acquisition. He began his career at NYNEX (now Verizon) as a member of the technical staff in the Science and Technology Division.
Antoun serves as Venture Partner at Technology Crossover Ventures (TCV) and holds current public company directorships at Healthcare Realty Trust Incorporated and Apartment Investment and Management Company. He sits on the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta's Energy Advisory Council. He earned a B.S. in Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and an M.S. in Information Systems Engineering from the Polytechnic Institute of New York University.
