CoreWeave Inc. announced Aug. 25 that Rescale will expand its cloud ecosystem to CoreWeave Cloud, giving engineering and research teams access to AI and simulation infrastructure designed for demanding product development workloads.
Rescale, a digital engineering platform, supports customers across aerospace, automotive, energy, life sciences and manufacturing. The company’s platform brings together compute infrastructure, simulation software and AI capabilities used by research and development and engineering teams.
The integration with CoreWeave Kubernetes Service will allow Rescale customers to access CoreWeave’s cloud platform for generative AI and high-performance computing workloads. The companies said CKS supports scalable, containerized orchestration with high-performance networking and storage, enabling teams to run distributed simulations and AI models without managing the underlying infrastructure.
The partnership targets engineering teams working on simulations and AI models that require more compute power and flexibility than traditional systems can provide.
“As Rescale customers move deeper into AI physics and agentic engineering workflows, the compute demands are fundamentally different from traditional simulation,” John Moonshower, chief revenue officer at Rescale, said. “CoreWeave’s AI cloud platform is purpose-built for those workloads, and this collaboration ensures engineers on the Rescale platform have the infrastructure to match.”
CoreWeave said its platform is designed to support the full AI development lifecycle, from experimentation and training to production inference and large-scale simulation. The company said its cloud platform is used by AI labs, startups and global enterprises.
Jon Jones, chief revenue officer at CoreWeave, said Rescale users are running some of the most demanding simulations in the world.
“Rescale gives its customers access to CoreWeave’s AI-optimized cloud services with the performance and flexibility their engineering workloads demand,” Jones said. “That’s what CoreWeave is built to deliver.”
CoreWeave also pointed to its performance in MLPerf benchmark results and its platinum rankings in SemiAnalysis ClusterMAX 1.0 and 2.0, a rating system for AI cloud performance, efficiency and reliability.
The companies said the collaboration will help Rescale customers run AI and simulation workloads at the speed and scale required for next-generation engineering and product development.
