Since taking office in March, Senator Alan Armstrong (R-Okla.) has made hundreds of stock transactions. One of those trades by the former oil executive was buying shares of an AI company that has soared in value.

Senator Buys Nebius Stock

Sen. Armstrong bought $1,000 to $15,000 in Nebius Group NV stock on March 30, 2026, according to data from the Benzinga Government Trades page.

That trade is one of more than 700 places by Armstrong since he took office on March 24, 2026. Armstrong replaced Markwayne Mullin in the vacant seat after Mullin left to become the Homeland Security Secretary.

Don't Miss:

Buying Nebius stock was one of the first moves by Armstrong when in office, buying shares six days after joining the U.S. Senate.

On March 30, 2026, Nebius stock traded between $89.65 and $102.24. Assuming Armstrong bought the full $15,000 in shares at the top of his purchase range, the senator could have bought 146.7 to 167.3 shares.

Today, that Nebius stock purchase would be worth between $33,520.95 and $38,228.05, resulting in a paper profit of between $18,520.95 and $23,228.05. The purchase is up over 120% and could be up over 150% if the shares were bought closer to the lows on the day Armstrong bought.

Nebius stock is up 18% Wednesday after the company reported quarterly financial results.
